This film festival will be inaugurated by the either Chief Minister or Deputy Chief Minister of U.P and will attend by more than 50,000 thousand peoples along with the Actors & Actresses of Bollywood, Film Industry Dignitaries, VVIP’s from the government, Ambassadors/High Commissioners of various countries. The festival will have participation from more than 50 leading countries including USA, UK, Canada, UAE, Portugal, Greece, Mauritius, Spain, Austria, Germany, and Caribbean Islands.

Learning and Forming Networks

Education is one of the key skills required to create an ecologically, economically, and socially sustainable future and is therefore one of the guiding lights of the festival. This becomes particularly evident in Generation, the festival’s section for children and young people, and in many Talents.

The Global Nature Film Festival (GNFF) makes it possible to experience the most diverse living environments and perspectives of young people from around the world and, with its age recommendations, offers children and young people access to the festival. The GNFF promotes cultural participation and representation with live voiceovers for the youngest viewers, subtitles, film questionnaires and the children’s and youth juries which decide on the awarding of the competitions.

The materials resulting from this festival will be published and provide a lasting impetus for film education work in schools and beyond.

Education and personal development are a matter of exchanges and of learning from one another. This is why Talents will connect with various filmmakers from all around the globe. The alumni community emerging from this festival is hailing from a wide variety of cultural and social backgrounds and from many countries. Mentors and Coaches help the award-winning talents and alumni to further develop their film-related social initiatives, cultural platforms and self-funded networks with the aim of ensuring these projects have a sustainable effect on the environment, quality of education and better working conditions.

Sustainability - The Future in View

A festival history stretching over a period means a process of constant change. Festival has now been experiencing a further transformation for quite some time. Year by year, it is consistently building upon its efforts towards thinking and acting in a sustainable way – from a social, ecological, and economic perspective.

An awareness of the planet’s dwindling resources, the importance of an inclusive and respectful social interaction and the significance of cultural education and of building networks for future generations are at the centre of a mindful awareness that runs right through the universe. The foundation of this continuous transformation is the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations which, thanks to the support of Engagement Global, will be presented to the public during the festival’s 5th edition with the #17 Goals project. The Film Market has also been strengthening its sustainability since 2020 with its – recently updated – Sustainability Manifesto, and has been focusing on making the topic visible and audible at its events.

Embedding Social Sustainability

Participation, a sense of openness and a joy in discourse are among the festival’s outstanding features. As part of a film community that acts and is connected on a global level, we are committed to diversity and the removal of barriers, to respect, gender equality and accessibility. The festival’s diverse film programme offers audiences the opportunity to travel around the world and become acquainted with “foreign” cultures, milieus, ways of life, attitudes, and perspectives – and thus to break down prejudices and borders. Time and again, works presented at the festival highlight social inequalities. Year after year, the festival organisers and its visitors are prompted to question what they take to be “normal” – which is often only based on accustomed habits – and to reflect on familiar ways of thinking and tear down barriers and divisions in an exchange with artists from all over the world. The previous festival saw its signature added to the “Declaration of the Many” which takes a stand against right-wing populism and for artistic freedom.

Across the spectrum from feature films to documentary forms and artistic experiments, the audience is invited to encounter highly contrasting milieus, ways of life and attitudes, to put their own judgements and prejudices to the test and to reinvigorate their experience of seeing and perceiving in the realm between classic narrative forms and extraordinary aesthetics. The programme also thrives on an intense dialogue with its audiences. A rich array of spoken-word events, audience discussions and expert panels facilitate an active participation in the festival.
The Competition is the festival’s centrepiece and screens the films that will be talked about. It is a platform aiming to foster aesthetically and structurally daring works from independent, innovative filmmakers. Generation presents films that matter – for young cineastes and everyone else. Festival offers space for the extraordinary, the glamorous and the festival’s special concerns. Festival offer filmmakers and industry representatives a comprehensive service for talent promotion, network building, project development, consulting, co-production, financing, audience development, marketing, distribution and discourse. In all its specific events, Global Chamber of Commerce & Industry being a Organiser is setting the agenda in its commitment to the common cause of fostering greater participation and a more inclusive and sustainable film industry. Festival will provide an international marketplace, a compass for the new film year and a platform for innovation and change.
Festival offers targeted matchmaking and international networking for selected projects, producers and financiers. Festival is the creative meeting place for the film makers with often public talks and workshops for film-loving audiences and various selected Talents from around the world.

Tickets

Tickets can be booked exclusively online and are always available three days in advance, always from 10.00 am (for example, on a Monday for the following Thursday). They can be booked - subject to availability - up until the screening starts. No admittance once the screening has begun. Online Ticketing- If you click on a ticket button within the programme, you will automatically be forwarded to the site of ticketing. Booked tickets will be sent to the email address specified .

Submit Your Video

In order to submit a film to the festival you must send the film and the completed film entry online form to the festival before the given deadline. The festival does not consider film entries for which the selections screeners have not been submitted within the deadline. A film entry is only possible with using the online registration form. In any case, the festival asks you to carefully read its General Guidelines for Submission and Participation as well as the additional special regulations of the individual sections.

The festival recognises diversity as a key value in society. The festival is also committed to being a place where a shared cinematic experience and an exchange of ideas can take place. It is very important to the peoples that everyone has access to film screenings and events. The festival is constantly working to remove existing barriers and to develop more inclusive services. This year, the festival is providing more detailed information on accessibility and is also explicitly pointing out the barriers. In addition to providing spaces for wheelchair users, the festival is also organising panel discussions with translation into various languages and film screenings with audio descriptions via dedicated apps. There will also be volunteers available at the venues that offer accessible film screenings to help with questions and, if necessary, accompany people to their seats
