GCCI is committed to supporting conservation by positively influencing wildlife education through specialized programming. A key part of our organization’s mission is to conserve wildlife and the environment, and GCCI knows that begins by developing a passion for nature in its attendees. The GCCI vision is to protect wild life through habitat conservation and restoration and land management methods that promote game species like the bobwhite quail, wild turkey, and whitetail deer. During expo, GCCI will try to teaches attendees because it is passionate about protecting our wildlife and how it promotes conservation during informative presentations. Conservation is a mindset and lifestyle that GCCI believes. GCCI is especially spirited about building connections between kids and the great outdoors through educational opportunities and in-school programs, with a focus on art, nature, and science. GCCI helps children turn their excitement about wildlife and the natural world into meaningful action.

GCCI aim is to rehabilitate sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals, and educate the public about nature, wildlife, and habitat conservation.

Through the expo GCCI will try to identify and address vital environmental issues through education, research, and conservation initiatives and by providing medical care to wildlife animals. In the future GCCI will organise experiential programs to promote awareness and appreciation for the natural world and humans’ respective roles as stewards in its preservation.

GCCI offers a wide variety of educational programming for all ages during the event. Learn about birds of prey as they soar above, touch one of the southeast’s rare indigenous snakes and laugh your way through wildly entertaining live shows where the animals take centre stage.

Wildlife Expo provide a unique opportunity to bring together wildlife’s most ardent supporters with some of the world’s leading conservationists to connect, share stories, and make life-long friendships. At Expo you can hear what it’s like to live and work in some of the most remote parts of the world and you can speak to conservationists directly to learn what you can do to help. Expos give you a chance to dive deeper into your love for wildlife, to learn what conservationists are doing to protect endangered animals, and become inspired to make a difference.

GCCI initiated “Kids for Conservation” program to promotes wildlife and environmental conservation with the kids, with hopes that engaged youth grow to become conscious, eco-friendly adults. Kids will get chance to showcase their potential through posters, poetry, and photo entries. Children and young adults embrace their artistic abilities and learn about nature conservation. Conservation is a mindset and lifestyle that GCCI believes. GCCI is especially spirited about building connections between kids and the great outdoors through educational opportunities and in-school programs, with a focus on art, nature, and science. GCCI helps children turn their excitement about wildlife and the natural world into meaningful action. By this way GCCI is confident that children’s will be recognized as a global leader in exploration and preservation in the future.

Teaching children about wildlife, especially if you can get outside in nature, also moves them closer to caring about wildlife and their habitats. For their own well being and for that of our precious natural world, children need opportunities to learn about, personally interact with and experience nature. WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition- whether you shoot in the wilderness or at the heart of an urban environment wildlife photographer of the year competition is open to everyone.
Categories- Wildlife photographer of the year uses photography to celebrate the wonderful diversity of life to inspire and inform and to create advocates for the planet. It champions ethical wildlife photography regarding truthful representation of nature that display respect for animals and the environment. All category winners will be considered for the grand title.

Rules- Please note that any entry to wildlife photographer of the year competition will immediately binded with below mentioned rules.
1. Any breach of these ethical requirements below will constitute a breach of the rules.
2. Your images must report on the natural world in a way that is creative, honest and ethical.
3. Entries must not deceive the viewer or attempt to disguise and/or mis represent the reality of nature
4. Caption information supplied must be complete true and accurate.
5. Images must not portray captive, restrained, manipulated animals, animal models and/or any other animal being exploited for profit. The only exception is when reporting on a specific issue regarding the treatment of animals by a third party in which case you must make clear that the animal was captive, restrained, a model or a taxidermy animal.
6. You must not do anything to injure or distress an animal or damage its habitat to secure an image. This include flying a drone too low or noisily over an animal. An animal’s welfare must come first.
7. You are responsible for ensuring full compliance with any applicable national or international legislation and for securing any relevant permits which in the case of human portraits, will include the subject’s permission and which must be made available to us if we request it.
8. Live baiting is not permitted, neither is any means of baiting that may put an animal in danger or adversely affect its behaviour, either directly or through an irresponsible habituation. Any other means of attraction, including bird seed or scent, must be declared in the caption for the jury and us to review.
9. If we suspect that an entry has been achieved through cruel or unethical practices including the use of live or irresponsible bait or in any way in breach of these rules, the entry will be disqualified and we reserve the right to report you to the applicable authorities.
10. You agree that, if your entry is selected by the jury, you will participate in the reasonable amounts of related publicity and agree to the use of your name and likeness for the purpose of advertisement, promotion, and publicity of the competition without any additional compensation.
11. Ownership of the copyright in any entry submitted to the competition will remain with the copyright owners.
12. All rights are reserved with the organisers to reject any entry at any time without giving any reasons and compensation.
